What kind of content is available on the screen?
ember displays recommendations of places and events around the city (restaurants, bars, concerts, cafés), video content from a variety of media companies and music provided by Stingray.
What is ember's business model?
ember generates revenue through advertising and content sponsorships.
Is it completely free to have an ember screen in my car?
Aside from the security deposit, ember is entirely free for drivers. In fact, ember drivers who maintain the minimum requirements of at least 75 sessions per week receive a payment of $40 a month.
Why does ember take a $200 deposit and when do I get it back?
As soon as you reach 1000 sessions (reached in approximately 3 months) we give you back the deposit in full. Also if you ever want to stop being an ember driver you will get the deposit back upon receipt of the hardware.
What are the benefits of being an ember driver?
Beyond providing a 1st class experience for your passengers that will lead to better star ratings, ember drivers who maintain the minimum requirements of 75 sessions per week earn $40 a month.
Why only full time drivers are allowed to get an ember screen?
Until we reach a critical mass of 1000 screens in activity we will only accept full-time drivers (at least 75 rides per week). If you are part-time you can still sign-up and we will reach out when we reach the right number of screens in activity.
Does Uber allow drivers to have an ember screen? ?
Yes, as long as you are enhancing the service you are providing to your passengers, they do not complain about Uber promoting new initiatives like ember.
How do I get a screen in my car?
You can sign up for ember through the form at the top of this page.
Is the screen secured in the car?
Yes, the screen is mounted in a secure metal case and accessible only by the driver with a key.
What happens if the screen breaks?

What happens if the screen is stolen?
If the screen is stolen, please file a report through the local authorities and contact us at this number or by email at this address for detailed informations.
What leads to termination?
We terminate contracts with drivers if :
- the screen is not active for a period of 30 business days
- the active time is below the minimum requirement for a period of 60 business days (less than 50 sessions per week)
- the driver violates the terms and conditions contract

Can I easily remove the iPad from my car?
Yes, the enclosure is easy to open with the provided key. We advise drivers to use their best judgement and remove the screen from the enclosure when they feel it is necessary.
What happens if I go on holidays?
If you plan to go on vacation for more than 15 days, please contact us at this number or by email at this address.
What happens if I stop driving for Eva, Uber or Taxis?
If you decide to stop driving for eva, uber or taxi you should return the ipad, enclosure and all cables to this address within 15 working days. If you fail to return equipment within the 15 day period, we will charge your credit card. [INSERT HOW MUCH?]
